My favorite title? Grandma.

I’m a preschool teacher, and one of my favorite parts of the day is sharing stories with my young students. I love watching them lean in, laugh, ask questions, and imagine what might happen next.

As much as I love teaching, my favorite role of all is being a grandmother. Sharing everyday discoveries, silly adventures, and one-more-story moments with my grandson has brought more joy—and inspiration—than I ever imagined.

These books grew from that joy. Simon O’Finnery and his family are fictional, but the curiosity, laughter, and love at the heart of their adventures come from a very familiar place.

My hope is that these stories give children and their grown-ups a reason to slow down, laugh together, and discover something new. And when the last page is turned, perhaps there will be time for one more story—and one more hug.
